FORMER COMMISSIONER SPEAKS ON SDG FIVE

Maseru, Feb. 28 — First Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS) woman Commissioner, Mrs. ‘Malejaka Letooane says, Lesotho is making positive strides in relation to Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) number five of achieving gender equality empower women and girls.

Mrs. Letooane said this in an interview with LENA when talking about the recent appointment of LMPS Acting Commissioner, Dr. Mahlape Morai and Commissioner General ‘Mathabo Makoko of Revenue Services Lesotho (RSL) recently.  

The former Commissioner who was also commissioned by the King to represent Lesotho in Pretoria, South Africa as High Commissioner in 2014-2016 reiterated that she prides herself with LMPS Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Morai, now Acting Commissioner as she has surely learnt from her predecessors. . .
