Maseru, April.02—The Minister of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition Mr. Thabo Mofosi has officially opened the 2nd, 3-days Agricultural Productivity Program for Southern Africa (APPSA) scientific conference in Maseru on Wednesday.
In his remarks, the Minister indicated that it is through such initiatives that good security can be improved across the SADC region.
He stated that such conferences should also be used as platforms to share a common passion for advancing food and nutrition security throughout the region.
Mr. Mofosi said this conference will also provide a forum for agricultural researchers to share ideas and take action on accelerating advanced agricultural practices which will see sustainable agriculture projects and advanced technologies to improve agriculture and see sustainable food security…
