Maseru, Dec. 06 — The late founding father of Basotho, Morena Moshoeshoe I known to be an inspiration to the nation is also an inspiration to other nations of the world.
“I do not know him but I have been informed and knowledgeable of his traits that I personally view him as my mentor and a great inspiration”, the United Nations (UN) Resident Coordinator, Ms. Amanda Mukwashi has said.
Speaking of the late leader at the time when Lesotho is commemorating bicentennial marking the existence of the nation since formation from Botha-Botha Walk to Thaba-Bosiu fountains in those years, the Resident Coordinator said Basotho should prioritise inclusion in all aspects.
“No one should be left behind especially during this important month when Lesotho has joined the rest of the world in commemorating the 16 days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence as well as World Aids Day (WAD).”
