LESOTHO PARTICIPATES AT THE 23RD AFRICA DOWN UNDER CONFERENCE

Maseru, Sept. 03 — Prime Minister Ntsokoane Matekane is leading a high-level delegation to the 23rd Africa Down Under (ADU) Conference in Perth, Australia.

The conference which is scheduled to start on Wednesday, September 03 and end on Friday, September 05 will showcase investment opportunities in mining, renewable energy where Prime Minister Matekane will deliver a keynote address later today.

Day one of the conference is about building networks, securing viable sales prospects, and maximising Lesotho’s brand exposure. Lesotho’s delegation is using this platform to promote the nation’s developments, products and services while engaging with key resource buyers, procurement specialists and decision-makers.

This year’s conference highlights the growing demand for copper, lead, nickel and cobalt, key minerals for batteries and electric vehicles as well as technologies crucial for the global fight against climate change.
