Qacha’s Nek, Aug. 29 — On Thursday, Lesotho Post Bank (LPB) made a significant contribution to the community by donating 10 food parcels to vulnerable children and breastfeeding mothers.
The parcels, valued at M3,000, included essentials such as milk, tinned fish, beans, peas, salt, sugar, and more.
These goods were distributed during the Food Month celebration and Agricultural Market Day, held under the theme “Breaking the Pots of Hunger from Poverty: Zero Granary,” organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security, and Nutrition (MAFSN) in Tsoelike, Ha Matlali.
Speaking with the Agency, Mrs. Julia Machobane-Ts’osane, Marketing and Branding Officer at Lesotho Post Bank, emphasized that the donation is part of the bank’s Corporate Social Investment (CSI) efforts to give back to the community.
