Berea, March 15 — In a bid to promote the love of rugby as a sporting code, Lesotho Rugby Academy (LRA) has embarked on a journey to introduce rugby in different primary and high schools of Berea.
This was confirmed by one of LRA Rugby Coach, Mr. Alex Ncheke during an interview with the Agency on Friday.
Mr. Ncheke said although many people think rugby is the sport for the giant guys only, they have started on the journey to introduce the sport in the primary and high schools of Berea with the aim to instil the love and to have a common understanding of the sport at a tender age.
He pointed out that as for the primary schools, their main focus is to train them tag rugby or a non-contact style of the sport and to give them some basics of rugby.
