Maseru, Mar. 15 — The National Assembly has decided to carry the motion on the adoption of the report on Labour Bill, 2024 as well as the adoption of the report on the communications subscriber identity module registration amendment regulations , 2024 which were tabled in the House on March 12 and 08 respectively.
The chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on the Economic and Development Cluster Mr. Sello Hakane presented the committee’s report on the Labour draft Bill before the House on Friday where he indicated that this Bill entails policies that were already in the Ministry of Labour. He said they worked with relevant stakeholders to make this draft including the National Advisory Committee on Labour and National Advisory Committee on Safety and Health.
