LESOTHO STILL ON RIGHT TRACK IN MARATHON-PHETA

Maseru, April 13 – Federation of Athletics Lesotho (FAL) President Mr. Tseliso Pheta says Lesotho is on the right track when it comes to long distance races after three local runners finished in the top 10 in this year’s Two Oceans 56 Kilometres Ultra marathon in Cape Town on Saturday.

Mr. Pheta commended the trio for the job well done after hoisting the national flag aloft in the race which attracted runners across the globe.

He believed that if Lebelo ‘Mopenyane who finished on fourth in 3:11:13, Lebenya Nkoka who came on sixth in 3:11:35 as well as Khoarahlane Seutloali who also ensured that at least Lesotho is among the top 10 runners to cross the finish line was a good sign that Lesotho is still a force to be reckoned with in long distance race…
