Maseru, March.14 — UNICEF Lesotho together with the government of Lesotho have signed a joint annual work plan which is described to be a crucial step towards enhancing the well-being of all Basotho children and achieving the sustainable development goals (SDGs).
In his remarks, the UNICEF Country Representative Mr. Deepak Bhaskaran said that this signing comes at the right time when children are supposed to be supported in a wide range of sectors for their well-being.
He said that it is through vast collaborations from a number of related stakeholders that more can be achieved towards ensuring the bright future of the children of Lesotho.
Mr. Bhaskaran however pleaded for the proper and well administered implementation of the proposed plans which focus on the well-being of children across the country. . . .
