Maseru, Mar.31 — Lesotho Girl Guides Association (LGGA) on Sunday celebrated World Thinking Day as a climax to their two-day camp which started on Friday.
The day is annually celebrated on February 22 by all Girl Guides and Girl Scouts around the world. It is a day when they think about their sisters (and brothers) in all countries of the world, the meaning of Guiding and its global impact. This year’s theme, “Our World, Our Thriving Future”, gives youth a global perspective on the environment, sustainability, gender equality, peace, and poverty.
The camp saw about 50 girls from six different schools in the country aged between seven (7) and 14. . .
