LIKUENA GO DOWN FIGHTING AGAINST MAMBAS

Maseru, Jan. 07 — Lesotho’s senior soccer squad, Likuena (The Crocodiles) went down 2- 0 against Mozambique’s Mambas in the first international practice match played at FNB Stadium on Saturday.

The first of the two international practice matches lined up for Likuena was part of the team’s rebuilding process as well as preparation for the up-coming 2026 FIFA World qualifying matches and the next Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers which will kick off in March this year.

According to Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) Media Officer, Mr. Mikia Kalati reporting from Johannesburg, Mamba’s first goal was scored from a corner kick and Likuena defence failed to clear the ball resulting with Reinildo scoring the first goal on the 27th minute.
