LIKUENA MISS FOUR PLAYERS FOR COTE D’IVOIRE CLASH

Maseru, Sept. 05 — Lesotho senior soccer squad, Likuena will miss four key players due to various reasons like injuries, commitments and resignation for the much awaited last group H TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Cote d’Ivoire set for this Saturday.

During the Likuena media open day, interim coach Mr. Leslie Notsi said former Likuena captain Basia Makepe has resigned from international football and therefore is not going to be part of the players travelling to Cote d’Ivoire.

He also mentioned that South Africa based international player Motebang Sera as well as Lisema Lebokollane have sustained injuries while Jane Thaba-ntso has job commitment and will therefore miss the Cote d’Ivoire trip.
