Berea, May 28—Liotloaneng community in Berea said the ongoing drought has triggered water scarcity and thus leaving many children vulnerable to walk long distances in search for active water sources.
According to one of Liotloaneng Community Councillors Mr. Thabo Seutloali, having gone some months without rains, many of their water taps were gradually running dry and thus providing a limited water supply to the community.
Mr. Seutloali said the situation has forced them to implement programmed water cuts or ration the supply at some places in order to meet high demand.
