Botha-Bothe, July 10 — Lesotho Lowlands Water Development and Sanitation Project – Phase III (LLWDSP III) promises projects that will be meant to develop the communities while continuing with construction of the dam that will supply Botha-Bothe and some of Leribe villages with water.
Compensation Officer And Community Liaison Officer, Mr. Makotoko Maama has explained that the African Development Bank which is one of the funders of the project has promised community based projects such as giving certificates to different people in communities who have skills such as dressmaking, plumbing, woodwork and building and many others.
He said those people will be registered in their different communities and Technical and Vocational trainers will assess them before getting certificates so as to know the extent of their knowledge and skills on their job. He showed that for one to get a certificate in a certain skill is important so that those people can be able to apply for jobs with the certificates.
