LMPS AND LOCAL COUNCILS  RECEIVE VEHICLES 

The  Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS) and Local Councils received vehicles from the government in Maseru on Friday.   

Out of  38 Vehicles 21  will help the LMPS to combat Stock theft,11  to address criminal activities in the communities,1 Mini bus and 3 taxis that will be used for Police Operations, 2 for firefighters and  the 24  will be distributed at the district Council. 

On behalf of the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister Justice Nthomeng Majara said when the government closed  Parliament last year, they made a promise to the nation to put them first and this distribution of cars is their first move to fulfil the promise of fighting the crime…
