LNWMGA  IMPROVES ECONOMY – MOKHOSI

Quthing, April 18 — The Minister of Labour  and Employment, Mr. Ts’eliso Mokhosi says  Lesotho National Wool and Mohair Growers Association (LNWMGA) plays a vital role in the country’s economic development.

Speaking on behalf of the Minister of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition  held at the Quthing District Agricultural small stock show held in Moyeni Wool-shed on Wednesday this week,  Mr. Mokhosi emphasised that the government and development partners are committed in support of LNWMGA in different angles for² its growth and sustainable independence. 

He commented on small stock farmers for their commitment for production of angora goats and merino hybrid small and working hand in hand with different projects implemented to achieve production of high quality Wool and Mohair. 

Speaking at the same event, the Director of field Services Mr. Thabo Sekhonyana said small stock farmers are committed in holding small stock  from district to national level to ensure that their flock Wool and Mohair production meets the needs of international market standards.
