Berea, Aug 29 — Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) in Berea district said preparations for the Local Government Elections scheduled for September 29 are at an advanced stage.
IEC District Electoral Assistant (DEA) Mr. Moeketsi Nkoe confirmed the development when briefing LENA over the progress made prior to the elections.
Mr. Nkoe said in every elections, voters list is the most important issue, therefore they are confident that cleaning and verification of voters roll was well conducted.
