Mohale’s Hoek, August.28 — Mohale’s Hoek LEC Primary Principal Mrs. ‘Maposo Mzamo has on Monday expressed her gratitude to the Ministry of Health under Dental department, for bringing dental services which she noted came in handy.
This ensued after about 1500 students were screened in commemoration of Oral Health Awareness Week, whereby those who needed tooth filling and fissure sealants were issued consent forms to be filled by parents allowing them to have their teeth be filled, and those forms will be returned to school.
Mrs. Mzamo noted that the majority of students are from outside the district, while some are not living with their parents who have secured domestic jobs in RSA, therefore teaching them about oral health is significant.
