Maseru, Mar. 21 — World Health Organisation (WHO) has commended Lesotho for developing Oral Health Policy 2023, this it said while marking the World Oral Health Day commemorated on March 20 every year.
The oral health policy indicated that the Ministry of Health (MoH) as well as other health branches must have a package of all the equipment needed to maintain a good oral health.
It also indicated that to fight against the rising number of oral diseases, the Ministry must provide educational campaigns to educate the public about the significance of taking good oral health care and to avoid using drug substances that will lead to oral diseases.
