Maseru, Aug. 03 — Local producers of arts and crafts, vegetables and dairy products as well as processed food are currently exhibiting their products at a one-day farmers market in Maseru today, Saturday.
Organised by Alliance Francaise, RENOKA and German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), the farmers market is meant to showcase products for profit making purposes as well as to exchange cultural ties, Alliance Francaise Director, Mrs Elisabeth Douillet has said.
According to the Director, the farmers market is now held on the first Saturday of every month to allow the government to undertake its own flea market “This is done in negotiation with the government as we believe in complementing initiatives.”. She added. . .
