Maseru, July 29 — M Legacy Tour and Adventure International, in partnership with Heritage Inc. and the Lesotho Tourism Development Corporation (LTDC), is preparing to host a major African cultural event in Lesotho this September, in celebration of Tourism Month.
The event, called the Africa Cultural Expo, will be held in Morija and Mokhotlong, and will bring together representatives from 17 African countries. These include South Africa, Botswana, Eswatini, Namibia, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Cameroon, South Sudan, Nigeria, Malawi, Rwanda, and Angola.
Speaking about the event, Ms. Kefuoe Maroma, Director of M Legacy Tour and Adventure International, said the initiative is aimed at showcasing Lesotho’s rich cultural heritage while strengthening partnerships and trade relations between African nations.
“This is more than just a cultural celebration,” Ms. Maroma explained. “It is a platform to promote Lesotho, its traditions, and its potential as a tourism and business destination. It’s also about building stronger links across Africa.”
