Maseru, Sep.23 – In an effort to finance developmental issues, Lesotho needs to execute action-oriented strategies to accelerate implementation of the 2030 Agenda which also calls for a global community and unity.
This was said by the Prime Minister Mr. Ntsokoane Matekane at the 79th United Nations General Assembly Summit of the Future held in New York.
In his remarks, Mr. Matekane said that the Summit of the Future presents an opportunity for the international community to revitalize and fortify the multilateral system, ensuring that the UN remains relevant, resilient and capable of fulfilling its core mandate and realize the need to be cognizant of the fact that solving today’s problems with yesterday’s solutions will not yield the desired results. . .
