Qacha’s Nek, Jan.18 — Today has seen a celebration of the district’s outstanding performance in the newly announced 2023 Lesotho General Certificate of Secondary results by government officials, students, friends and family with melodious songs, ululation and emotional hugs with a convoy of cars from Mats’elabeli to the District Administrator’s premises.
According to the District Education Manager (DEM), Mr. Lebenya Mothibeli, the 5 percent increase from 2022 results deserved a celebration as it symbolises improvement.
“Although I have mixed emotions – sad and happy, the overall performance is encouraging that if we put more effort, next year we will score more than 50 percent,” he said.
