THABA TSEKA HIGH SCHOOL SHINES IN FOUR SUBJECTS

Thaba Tseka, Jan. 18 — Thaba Tseka high school acquired a 100 percent pass rate in four subjects during the 2023 LGSCE final examination.

This was stated by the school Principal, Mrs. Mapotsane Mohale in an interview with the Agency on Thursday.

According to Mrs. Mohale, they had obtained a 100 percent rate on Sesotho, Physical Science, Geography and French.

She said they are disappointed in English as they did not perform well as they got 58 percent as well as in Life Skills.

She added that in Accounting they obtained 84 percent, Mathematics 89 percent and Biology 84 percent.

Meanwhile, the District Administrator (DA) congratulated the district for a good performance, adding that there is a need to perform better to reach position one.

Thaba Tseka is in position four and has moved two points from position six which it held in 2022.

Nationwide Thaba Tseka high school has obtained position 12 followed by Ntaote high school which has been leading in the past years in the district.

 In 2022, Thaba Tseka was position 22 in the whole country and position three in the district.
