Qacha’s Nek, Oct.31 — Lesotho National Development Corporation (LNDC) Investment Promotion General Manager, Mrs. ‘Mabataung Tsinyane has today encouraged Melele entrepreneurs to invest in key investment opportunities such as Agriculture and Agro processing, Tourism and Creative Industries, Manufacturing, Innovation and Technology and Services and Solar Wind Energy for broader market access.
This she said in an investment and trade local roadshow event held by LNDC jointly with banks and mobile network operators aimed at promoting investment and trade opportunities and create a platform for LNDC stakeholders to engage the local private sector.
Mrs. Tsinyane revealed that priority products in agriculture are rosehip, herbs and spices, processed foods, bottled water, fish (pure salmon, trout), deciduous fruits, hemp, medicinal cannabis, poultry, piggery and beef while in manufacturing its automotive components, men and ladies high value garments, leather and footwear, electronic apparatus, woven fabric of cotton, moulds (injection or compressed) and hosiery (panty hose and tights).
