Maseru, May 05 – -Members of Parliament have on Tuesday congratulated the newly appointed Minister of Local Government and Chieftainship Mr. Nkhethoa Seetsa.
This after the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Mrs Ts’epang Mosena formally announced the appointment of Mr. Seetsa before the House.
Mrs. Mosena reminded the new Minister that he was a back bencher for a long time and might be aware that his Ministry is broad and has significant challenges that need to be addressed, urging him to remain enthusiastic and dedicated.
She also congratulated other Ministers who are entrusted to execute parliamentary work while at the same time representing the people.
Meanwhile Mr. Seetsa is one of the three newly appointed Cabinet members and was sworn in as the Minister of Local Government and Chieftainship on Monday at the Royal Palace and has already been introduced to the Ministry’s staff.
