Maseru, Aug. 04 — The Minister of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition Mr. Thabo Mofosi has refuted allegations that the government has received grant donations which will benefit farmers.
This follows a message trending on social media which indicates that agriculture, having been considered to be the country’s economy, foreign donors in partnership with the government last week received grant donations which will be of great benefit to all farmers.
It adds that the grant funds shall be used to purchase modern irrigation equipment and machineries, purchase more land for agriculture and many more, indicating that both large, small and those who wish to venture into agriculture are encouraged to apply on the given link before the closing date.
