Maseru, April. 10 – The Minister of Gender, Youth and Social Development presented the Children’s Protection and Welfare (Amendment) Bill 2023 before the Senate Legislation Committee on Thursday.
In his presentation, Minister Pitso Lesaoana explained that the Bill is meant to amongst others domesticate international and domestic adoptions as well as eradicate child marriage.
He said this will allow for issuance of licences to Agencies helping in the administration of adoption processes…AM/BM
