DEFENCE CONTINUES WITH CROSS-EXAMINATION

Maseru, Apr.10— The defence in a case in which four police officers are charged with the murder of their colleague, Police Constable Mokalekale Khetheng, has on Thursday continued with cross-examination of Sello Tulo who gave evidence implicating one of the accused in the matter.

The cross-examination of the witness by Advocate Zwelakhe Mda (KC)  could not, on Friday last week, proceed as scheduled as the lawyer was reported ill therefore could not make it to court.

The witness confirmed during the cross-examination that he was interviewed by a group of people, who were not in uniform, at Maseru more than once. He stated that the place at which the interviews took place did not look like a police station but was a building near Queen II. He added that there were statements taken from him…SM/BM
