Mokhotlong Sept. 22 — Five hundred and sixty-four candidates in the district are campaigning for the up-coming Local Government elections to be held on Friday next week.
The District Electoral Officer Mr. Monaheng Ntoi said the candidates are men, women and youth adding that some are standing under the political parties while others are independent candidates.
He said there are 73 Electoral Divisions in five Councils that include, Urban, Seate, Mphokojoane, Menoaneng and Sanqebethu within the Mokhotlong district.
