MORE WITNESSES TESTIFY

Maseru, Feb,18—–Following evidence by Retired Major General Lineo Poopa, Retired Assistant Commissioner of Police Mr. Mofokeng Kolo and Detective Lance Sergeant Liau Seeko, Lance Sergeant Shaabe Thamae took the stand and testified as the 8th witness for the state in the ongoing treason trial.

He took the stand after Lance Sergeant Seeko was excused before cross-examination in order to allow the prosecution to make copies of a photo album which he compiled after he gathered evidence from several police stations that were attacked in August 2014. This was after the defence stated that they do not have the album adding that they would like to have it for the cross-examination which was deferred to Thursday.

The witness indicated that he was on duty at the Police Headquarters in the Radio room when the attacks occurred on August 29 2014. He added that he was with Police Constable Mokete Litulo when the late Sub-Inspector Mokheseng Ramahloko came in…
