MORIE IN COURT FOR AN ALLEGED THEFT OF M 66,000.00

Mohale’s Hoek, Aug.26 — A 30-year old man Thabang Morie is expected to be back in court on  September 03 charged with an alleged theft of a whooping M66,000.00 from his employer’s Hardware.

This has been confirmed by an Officer commanding the Criminal Investigations Division (CID) Inspector Moeketsi Sehau in an interview with the Agency, by noting that the accused admitted to having stolen the aforementioned money at his workplace, and took it to Qalaheng Kamora- Lekhalo for safekeeping, so that if investigations pointed back to him, he would be able to return the money.

Inspector Sehau indicated unfortunately the man whom the money was kept in his care chowed a certain part, and investigations have revealed that the latter took a trip to Cape-Town, where he bought some precious stones and Springbok’s skin,(Ts’ep’e) noting they managed to recover only M 23,000.00. . . .
