MOROKOLE HONOURED WITH A MEMORIAL SERVICE

Maseru, Feb. 05 — A memorial service in honour of the late former Senate Vice President, Mr. Hlomohang Morokole was held in Maseru on Wednesday.

The service saw the presence of government officials, Senators and National Assembly members and staff including former Presiding Officers in the two houses, family and friends who in one accord commended the deceased for his humility, loving, presentable and soft spoken characters.

On behalf of the government, the Minister in the Prime Minister’s office, Mr. Limpho Tau said the deceased was entrusted with a huge responsibility to serve Lesotho locally and regionally, thus he represented Lesotho in South Africa.

To Parliamentarians and the bereaved family, he expressed condolences saying they should consider themselves lucky for having been afforded a father and a colleague of the deceased calibre.
