MPOTJOANE TALKS ON DECENTRALISATION

Botha-Bothe, Sept. 29—-After voting at Tsime LECSA community School , Member of Parliament for Hololo No.2 Mr. Lejone Mpotjoane says councilors are an important leg of government.

He said this when commenting about the importance of Local Government Elections which he said councillors are the ones who take care of the developments  in communities while Members of Parliament make laws and allocate funds for projects.

He said Parliament is  working hard to make sure that the Decentralisation Bill of 2021 is passed so that councillors have resources to perform. He said  workshops are continuing for different stakeholders in decentralisation so that when the law is enacted everyone understands their role.

He mentioned that his office together with the incoming councilors will work on the construction of roads. He said roads in the constituency are horrible and need  attention.
