Maseru, Nov. 22 — The National Aids Commission (NAC) has on Wednesday held a two-day community strengthening workshop in Maseru under the theme ‘Let communities lead’.
NAC Programmes Manager Mrs. Tiisetso Piet said the purpose of the workshop is to appreciate the contribution that the civil society organisations and community based societies have been putting in place towards supporting the government of Lesotho in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
She said this workshop is expected to serve as a platform to allow the aforementioned bodies to table the challenges which have been encountered towards the fight against HIV throughout the country.
