Maseru, July 06 — National AIDS Commission (NAC) will launch the 2024 National HIV estimates at the event to be held in Maseru on Thursday.
This was disclosed by NAC Communications and Advocacy Officer Ms. Mzondas Tsepane in an interview with the Agency.
Ms.Tsepane said Lesotho’s HIV estimates for the year 2024 have been finalised, saying they provide insights into the current state of the HIV epidemic.
She added that they also include prevalence rates, incidence trends, and AIDS mortality patterns in Lesotho and will play a critical role in guiding HIV programming and policy formulation.
