Berea, Aug 24—Minister of Local Government, Chieftainship Affairs, Home Affairs and Police, Mr. Lebona Lephema has reaffirmed that police officers are the national assets which deserve the right to be capacitated with resources for work efficiency.
The Minister of Police made these remarks during a guided tour at Teyateyaneng Police station on Thursday.
He pointed out that the government is committed to improve services at LMPS in order to promote a conducive work environment for police officers with relevant resources, adding that they are on the verge of opening a Ha-Mabote police workshop where all police vehicles will be repaired within a specific time.
