Maseru, Mar.04 — The year 2025 marks the 80 years since the founding of the first and oldest university in Lesotho and Africa, the National University of Lesotho (NUL).
NUL Vice Chancellor Professor Isaac Fajana on Tuesday in the presence of university management, students representatives, senior staff and all staff both academic and non-academic officiated the launch of the anniversary celebration which will be on April 08 this year. NUL was established on April 08, 1945 as the Catholic University College in Roma by the Catholic Hierarchy of Southern Africa.
In his remarks Prof. Fajana said this momentous occasion marks eight decades of academic excellence, innovation, and dedication to the development of Lesotho and beyond. . .
