Mohale’s Hoek, September 04 — With the purpose of establishing Operation Hloekisa Lesotho sub-committee, heads of departments have on Monday held a meeting at the District Administrator’s office.
This follows a plea from the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Defence, National Security and Environment Mrs.’Mabataung Khalane to her counterpart in the Ministry of Local Government, Police and Home Affairs, recommending that this operation would be more effective if districts established their own organizing committees.
Heads of departments were urged to develop a work plan which will be passed on to the sub-committee and when it is up and running, there would not be a need to wait until the last Friday of the month to clean the town.
