Maseru, Oct. 13 — Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Chairperson Mrs. Machabana Lemphane Letsie has slammed the Lesotho National Development Corporation (LNDC) for still presenting a report without figures even though it was given a week to do so.
This, she said during PAC’s meeting with LNDC, saying the report from the latter is expected to assist in a report written by the Office of the Auditor General for the year ended on March 31, 2022 on LNDC.
“We received a composition which lacked all figures last week hence the postponement of the meeting” she said, expressing disappointment over a report presented thereafter.
She indicated that the Committee requested the Corporation to also provide a detailed report on international trips, that is who took the trip? How much was spent? and what was the trip about amongst others but the report is still not detailed.
