PARENTS URGED TO CONSIDER VOCATIONAL EDUCATION

Berea, Feb. 04 — Khotsong Skills and Training Centre (KSTC) has encouraged parents to consider registering their children for vocational education and training for skills development.

This was said by KSTC Principal, Mr. Raphala Moluollo during an interview with the Agency on Tuesday.

Mr. Moluollo said unlike basic education which can be seen to be preparing people for office related work, vocational education and training model students who are ready for the job market, rather than waiting to be employed.

He pointed out that the world has turned to be dynamic and it requires people who are hands on, ready to deliver services to the people in order to enhance production, therefore vocational education is relevant in addressing today’s needs.
