Maseru, Feb. 18 — The Prime Minister Mr. Ntsokoane Matekane says there is a need for African Union (AU) member states to enhance collective action in addressing the multifaceted challenges of malnutrition and its repercussions on development through commitment of domestic resources.
These, he said during the AU Nutrition Champion RoundTable meeting on addressing malnutrition and catalysing Africa’s transformation through enhanced multi-sectoral investment, at the 37th African Union Summit held at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The PM said this requires member states to lead the way by ensuring that the battle against
malnutrition receives the attention, financial resources, and cross-sectoral
integration policies it demands. . .
