PM TOURS FACTORIES

Maseru, Oct. 12 — The Prime Minister, Mr. Ntsokoane Matekane says he is confident that re-opening of factories will create more job opportunities for Basotho.

This he said during his tour at four factories based in Maseru which include Liberation, Adient, Nien Hsing International and Duy/Quantum Apparel. The objective of the tour was to inspect and familiarize himself with the achievements and challenges facing factories so that the government could advise itself on how it will support them.

He indicated that he was satisfied with what he observed during his tour, indicating that preparations by the government to find new factories which will support those mentioned above are at an advanced stage, to create jobs for Basotho.

He added that orders have been made thus there is work that should be done and the only thing needed at this stage is to establish places where manufacturing will take place.
