POKANE PRIMARY SCHOOL READY FOR DROUGHT

Quthing, Sept 04 — Lack of clean water supply at Pokane Primary school will be a story of the past following installation of ground water boreholes in the school premises recently.

In an interview the acting Principal from Pokane Primary School Mrs. ‘Makeketso Ntho said the borehole has been installed at the school by World Vision Lesotho following a challenge of the school to produce vegetables from two greenhouses donated by the organization to the school in 2019.

She said the borehole will provide water to the school and will help to irrigate the greenhouses for vegetable production throughout the year.
