POLICY MITIGATIONS NEEDED FOR AGRICULTURAL GROWTH

Maseru, Aug.06 — Despite numerous efforts that the country puts in place towards archiving a sustainable agriculture, nothing can be achieved as long as there are no policies put in place towards meeting such efforts.

This was said by the Minister of Finance and Development Planning Dr. Rets’elisitsoe Matlanyane while setting scene on strengthening the investment based and financing for Agriculture in Lesotho on Tuesday. 

On her remarks, Dr. Matlanyane said that such policies should have mitigation plans such as skills training, climate change mitigation plans, land allocation policies which will help open windows for opportunities to enhance agriculture projects within the country. . .
