Maseru, Dec.13——The prosecution has on Wednesday applied for withdrawal of charges against Paleho Mochela of Ha Mokotane in Mafeteng who is charged with murder and sexual offences.
Legal representative for the prosecution in the matter Advocate Letsie stated that the application is made in terms of section 278 (3) of Criminal Procedure and Evidence Act which addresses dismissal of charges in default of prosecution.
