Quthing, June 26 — In an effort to get public views on Natural Resources Management (NRM) governance in Lesotho the Ministry of Environment, Forestry, Range, water and Soil Conservation held a roadshow at Ha-Tlhaku and Ha-Lazaro in Quthing this week respectively.
The Roadshows held with Regeneration of Livelihoods and Lande (ROLL) Project support have been held with the aim to prepare for review of Lesotho Laws and Policies for improvement NRM governance.
Addressing the Public at a Roadshow held at Ha-Tlhaku, the Roll Knowledge and Literacy Management Officer Mr. Ts’ita Ts’ita said the Ministry of Environment, Forestry, Range, water and soil conservation found that despite efforts taken to implement various activities for proper environment management and restoration, challenges posed by poor environment management remain the same in the country. . .
