Maseru, Dec. 13 — The public, on Tuesday, marched against the murder of a five-year old Boitelo Motsoko who was raped and murdered by a neighbour a fortnight ago.
The march which was organised by Willpowered Women Worldwide Lesotho commenced at Matala circle to Ha Leqele in Maseru, at a spot where Boitelo’s lifeless body was dumped and then ended at her home with a prayer.
In her address, on behalf of Queen Masenate Mohato Seeiso, Mrs. Mathato Phafoli said the queen called on every citizen for peace, love and revival but it seems the Basotho nation has become an enemy unto itself which she said is very sad.
Phafoli commented that women are not free on their own land, they cannot walk freely at night while men enjoy all the freedom in the world.
