Maseru, June 09 — The Ministry of Public Works and Transport has decided to implement the Moshoeshoe I airport master plan instead of hiring another consultant.
This was disclosed by the Minister of Public Works and Transport Mr. Matjato Moteane in an interview with the Agency when responding on the progress of the master plan of the airport after he disclosed earlier that they need a cheaper company that would work on the master plan instead of the previous one.
He said the Ministry has revised the concept note and has put aside the study that was done before, with the advice of experts from civil aviation.
He added that the International Civil Aviation Organization has also made an audit, saying by the end of this financial year, they will maintain equipment that is used to read traffic as well as to maintain lights.
