Qacha’s Nek, Feb. 14 — A week-long intensive training for over 30 youth lead farmers in Qacha’s Nek ended on Friday, equipping them with essential agribusiness skills.
Hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security, and Nutrition (MAFSN) with support from the Smallholder Agriculture Development Project (SADP II), the training aimed to shift young farmers from subsistence farming to sustainable, market driven agribusiness ventures.
Facilitated by IOS Partners, the training covered critical areas such as entrepreneurship, business management, financial education, legal frameworks for agribusiness, business simulation and business planning.
